Loic Sumfor ft. AWU & Lill Humble “Crush”

About “Crush”

“Crush” is a collaboration between Cameroonian artist Loic Sumfor, AWU Acapero, and Lill Humble. The song forms part of Loic Sumfor’s 2026 project Eve’s Apple, his third studio project, released on September 1, 2026. The project features AWU, Lill Humble and Vylina and explores Loic Sumfor’s contemporary Afro-R&B direction.

The record brings together three distinct voices for a contemporary love song built around attraction, emotion and the excitement associated with having a crush.

The Message Behind “Crush”

At its heart, “Crush” explores the feeling of being strongly attracted to someone and the emotions that come with that connection. The song presents the lighter, intimate side of romance, focusing on admiration and the excitement of discovering a person who captures your attention.

The collaborative format allows the artists to approach the theme from different vocal perspectives, giving the record a conversational and layered character.

AWU’s Contribution

AWU adds his recognizable melodic voice to the collaboration, connecting his established Afro-fusion identity with Loic Sumfor’s Afro-R&B sound.

The collaboration is particularly significant within AWU’s catalogue because it continues his musical relationship with Loic Sumfor. The two artists previously collaborated on “Severally,” making “Crush” another meeting point between their respective styles. “Crush” also expands that partnership through the addition of Lill Humble.

The Music and Official Lyrics Video

“Crush” sits within the contemporary Afro-R&B and Afrobeats space associated with Loic Sumfor. The production gives the three performers room to blend melodic vocals while maintaining the relaxed, romantic character of the song.

An official lyrics video for “Crush” was released through the Synergians platform, providing a visual presentation of the song and its lyrics.

“Crush” on Eve’s Apple

“Crush” is one of the songs on Eve’s Apple, Loic Sumfor’s third studio project. The project was released on September 1, 2026 and is described on Audiomack as an Afrosounds release. The project also includes “Living la Vida Loca” featuring Vylina and “Shhh.”

For AWU, the song adds another 2026 collaboration to his catalogue while showing his continued ability to move between his Kossa-Fusion identity and contemporary Afro-R&B productions.
