About “For Me”
“For Me” is a collaboration between Cameroonian Afro-fusion artist Freeboi Lamma and AWU Sing Song. The song appears on Freeboi Lamma’s Made in Douala, Vol. 1, a five-track project released on March 7, 2026 under DICE ENT. With a runtime of approximately 3 minutes and 5 seconds, “For Me” is the fourth track on the project.
The collaboration brings together Freeboi Lamma’s contemporary Afro-fusion approach and AWU’s melodic presence, creating another meeting point between two Cameroonian artists with distinct but complementary styles.
The Music
“For Me” sits within the contemporary Afro-fusion sound associated with Freeboi Lamma’s catalogue. The song gives both artists room to blend melodic delivery with modern African rhythms while maintaining a relaxed, accessible character.
AWU’s contribution adds his recognizable vocal identity to the record, complementing Freeboi Lamma and helping give the collaboration a broader melodic dimension.
AWU’s Contribution
“For Me” adds another recent collaborative appearance to AWU’s catalogue. By working with Freeboi Lamma, AWU continues his involvement in projects that connect his established musical identity with younger and emerging voices within Cameroon’s evolving music scene.
The collaboration is particularly notable as part of a 2026 project centered on music coming out of Douala, one of Cameroon’s major creative and entertainment hubs.
“For Me” on Made in Douala, Vol. 1

The EP-style project presents Freeboi Lamma alongside several artists from Cameroon’s contemporary music community, with “For Me” providing one of its key collaborative moments through AWU’s appearance.
